GA Sales and Distribution is the southwest distributor of the PiperSport and Czech Sport Aircraft SportCruiser.  Both aircraft are manufactured in the Czech Republic by Czech Sport Aircraft and come standard with a Ballistic Recovery System Parachute, Garmin GPS, and the renowned Rotax 912 ULS engine.  With the recent termination of the world-wide distributorship agreement between Piper Aircraft and Czech Sport Aircraft, GA Sales and Distribution has become a founding member of CRUZ USA, Inc., the United States dealer network designed to provide product support of the PiperSport and SportCruiser.  We have high confidence in the Czech Sport Aircraft manufacturer, its products, and their support.  More importantly, we have high confidence in the aircraft. 

Anyone who has flown the PiperSport or SportCruiser can tell you, “it’s a great little plane!”  The Rotax 912 produces 100 horsepower while sipping just FIVE gallons of regular car gas.  On thirty gallons of fuel, you can expect a range of 600 miles.  The fighter-jet style canopy provides wonderful visibility all around the aircraft.  On the sunny days, the canopy shade can be drawn to block the sun, but not your visibility.  Two wing lockers provide up to 88 pounds of storage space with an additional twenty pounds in the cabin.  Unlike many LSAs, the PiperSport/SportCruiser has a cabin width of nearly 47 inches…plenty of room for two big guys.  Adjustable rudder pedals accommodate even those 6’4” people who struggle to sit comfortably in other aircraft.  Each aircraft comes with leather seats, shoulder harness seatbelts, and a center stowage console.  After comfortably in the aircraft, the workload on the pilot is reduced with electric trim on the control stick and electric flaps, a center mounted boat style throttle, and automated mixture control.

There are three models that can be ordered.  Each aircraft is outfitted with a Garmin SL30 or SL 40 NAV/COM and a GarminGTX 328 or GTX 330 transponder.  The “Classic” model encompasses a traditional style panel with analog instruments and the option for a Garmin 495.  The “Classic” is great for initial flight school training or the Sport Pilot who has thousands of flight hours behind “round-dial gauges.”  The LT model upgrade includes a Dynon D120 Engine Monitoring System (EMS) with the traditional six-pack panel.  The Dynon 120 EMS display provides a multitude of information that is unable to be displayed on typical engine gauges.  The Dynon 120 provides additional information such as fuel rate, exhaust temperatures, cylinder head temperatures, etc.  On a beautiful display, you can gather all your needed information at the touch of a button.  The most popular model, the LTD, comes with all the bells and whistles.  The LTD model has the Dynon 120 in addition to the Dynon D100 Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS).  Using the Dynon network, the D 100 displays airspeed, altitude, heading, turn and bank, RPMs, wind direction and velocities, and much more.  Coupled with the Garmin GPS, the Dynon autopilot (AP74 + HS34), the LTD becomes the most comfortable cross-country aircraft in the LSA market.  The dual axis autopilot has heading and altitude select and hold modes.  Still, this aircraft gets better.  Each model can be upgraded to include the Garmin GPSMAP 695/696 and the Garmin GTX 330 transponder.  To make the LTD model the ultimate package, many pilots have upgraded to the Garmin 696 with the GTX 330.  With this package, you can rest assured you have one of the most advanced and reliable avionics panel on the Light Sport Aircraft market.   

Each aircraft is manufactured in the Czech Republic and shipped to Fort Pierce, Florida.  In Fort Pierce, each aircraft is reassembled, inspected and issued a Certificate of Airworthiness.  It is then that the aircraft receives a registration number and then can be sold.  From the date of deposit, you should expect a minimum of twelve weeks before your aircraft is available for pick up.  GA Sales and Distribution will retrieve your aircraft and provide the initial acceptance and break in of each aircraft.  This time will allow us to ensure that the aircraft has, in fact, met every safety requirement and is prepared for you.  Once we have thoroughly inspected the aircraft, your aircraft will be ready for pick up at our facility in Prescott, AZ. 

At our facility, you can expect to find instructor pilots who are familiar and experts in the PiperSport/SportCruiser.  They will make certain you gain the necessary education and experience in your aircraft, and are available to answer whatever questions you may have.  We want you to understand your aircraft inside and out when you leave.  Beyond our knowledgeable instructors, you will be able to meet our Director of Maintenance to receive an overview of the maintenance required to keep your aircraft safe and airworthy.  We will be more than happy to spend as much time with you as you would like. 

Once you have taken possession of your aircraft our mission is not complete.  We are dedicated to providing you service and support for your aircraft.  GA Sales and Distribution works hand-in-hand with Guidance Aviation to provide flight training, recurrent training, and endorsements.  You can expect Guidance Aviation will be able to provide additional training and Biennial Flight Reviews.  Additionally, Prescott Wing and Rotor, our maintenance provider, will be accessible for 100 inspections, annuals, overhauls, unscheduled maintenance, and parts.  Our experienced staff is prepared to assist you in making sure that both, you and your aircraft, are fit for flight.
